Bottling my stout

Tue Jun 16, 2009 8:57 pm

So it's week three. And I decided to bottle the stout. (do to lack of activity in the airlock and impatience.) anyways, it also started to taste a bit too fruity (maybe the sudden rise in temperature?)

Anyways, As i bottled the beer I noticed that unlike a normal stout...it's a off gray and transparent...What might be the cause of the wrong color?

(the beer taste great compared to brew number 1)

It was a three gallon batch it was at about 10.24 for the final gravity. also, I used a liquid form of powder sugar....big mistake seeing how there is cornstarch in there.....(which i think is part of the problem...) the recipe was john palmer's stout but with a three gallon batch OG 10.76
