Jamil and John Palmer are back with another popular Q & A show on Brew Strong. They take listener questions from the chat and e-mail to open the lines of communication and let all topics fly and get your homebrew, craft brew and beer related questions answered.
In Johns book he recommends adding your mash water to the grain. I find it easier to put my mash water in the mash tun, get the water temp set and then add the grain to hit my mash temp. Am I creating any off flavors or problems by doing it this way? Im concerned about getting all the grain wet at the bottom of my tun between the pipes of my manifold. Thanks for your help. I have both of your books and find them indispensible.
