Stone has been hush hush about this recipe for years now, and while many clone recipes have been circulated around the web, our crew found all of them to be lacking. In this attempt, we get as much help as possible from Brewmaster Mitch Steele, without violating Stone's privacy on this beer. But the rest is left up to our experts. CYBI - Stone Levitation Ale by Dave Kmietek, September 27, 2009
Last night I had a chance encounter with Stone's Levitation Ale - the beer was excellent for it's flavor & awesome drinkability - at only 4.5% ABV it's amazingly flavorful. If I could learn to brew this beer I could rule the world! Perhaps Mitch Steele would fling open the kimono to reveal his secrets for brewing this delicious beer - so the challenge goes out to JZ, Tasty & the crew: "CAN YOU BREW IT?".

I'd like to retract my comment above. Reflecting on Arrogant Bastard further, I realized that my comment was overly harsh. While I am not a fan of this beer, I'm sure that many good brewers enjoy it.
