What kind of grains comes from the "Alpo" maltster?

Good for Dogfish Head clones?

Am I the only, uh, pragmatic brewer who just leaves the grain in the sack in which it originally came? I just tie a knot in the top, or close it with a rubber band if it is too close to the top for a knot and call it done.

It is a little easier for me to stack 3 or 4 bins on top of each other than it is to try and stack 3 or 4 bags of various fill levels on top of each other.

I keep unopened sacks up on a Gorilla Rack in my garage. The opened grain sacks and some specialty malts are bagged and kept in a Rubbermaid Brute trash can. The rest of my specialty grains and adjuncts are stored in individual 1 gallon jars, saved from when I finish the protein powder that came in them

BTW, my system efficiency went up 5-6% once I got the Barley Crusher - and that was on the factory setting! I recently got 83% on a saison, where the grainbed was shallow.
