No worries, I got it from the local shop just before they were going to send it out. I had been out of town unexpectedly for about a week, but now have two samples for Sunday.

Unfortunately or fortunately for you guys on my tasting panel my beer went south with infection, so you're going to be getting a free Laurelwood Porter just for playing.

Ok, I had another thought the other night (I know... two in one week! I am on a roll!). Anyway... How do you guys want to do the qualification for the second round? We have two options - 1) have each tasting group pick a winner - which moves on to the second round.... or, 2) the top five overall scores move on to the second round. Please reply with your comments...

I think that #2 is probably more fair - speaking from my own tasting group - which had one late cancellation. It is entirely feasible that one group gets more than one decent beer that should probably move on before "the best of two"... agreed?

Here is my eFax number: (320) 451-8416. Please have one person from your tasting group, fax one sheet for every beer judged. Since we had a few stragglers - the new deadline is now moved. Please fax your completed scoresheets no later that 5 PM PDT (beginning of the Session) on Sunday, April 6th. Feel free to fax them as soon as they are ready. I will post the second round qualifiers during the Session, in both the chat room and the forum.

Yup, that was me....I didn't realize they weren't going to put MY return address on the box....next time I will add a note inside. I had a taste of mine last night and I'm NOT real pleased with it...but am looking forward to hearing comments.

Guess I'm still waiting on one from Thirsty Mallard. hope it didn't get "lost"

Geist....the one marked VRP on the top is the one I'd like you to "judge". Thanks brotha.

Glad they got there in one peice! I hope you enjoy them. I would've sent homebrew, but didn't have anything other than the 70/-. Those are two beers I could drink all day and night long.
