If your name is in bold, I don't have your email and your snailmail address. I know that more people have brewed it - but those are the only ones that have contacted me. We have settled on the shipment date of 3/15. If you are a bottle conditioner - this weekend is probably your last opportunity to brew to make the deadline. I'd like to do the "drawing for tasting group" around the 3/2 - and I need a final count. So please get me your email and snailmail addresses as soon as you know you are in.

Thanks.

Just got finished with the mash! Looks like my efficiency was a little too good... I have about 7 gallons of wort with a preboil gravity of 1.038! I had to add a gallon and a half of water to some water to dilute down to a more reasonable number...

So far so good!

One thing I didn't take into consideration was the roasted barley. My LHBS sells roasted barley at 625L, and not the 300L in our recipe... and I didn't realize that until today. So mine will be a little roastier than most (which I think will be great).

It's all good, brotha! I would actually like to trade with you and see what a non-carmelized Scottish tastes like.

Let me rephrase Thirsty,

HAHA, what kind of SRM change did you have compared to the 300L?

It went from a 10 to a 16 SRM. Still within the style guidelines, thankfully.

Well you could always rebrew too, then have extra beer around. Not like thats a bad thing  But I like having the little variations here and there. There will be a couple brews (Yours and mine) that will be the black sheep of the trade. Give people a little something extra to taste :D

Sorry that you ruined it... Since your disposal tanks are too full, you'll have to send it to me, your backup, for disposal.
