Damn, if I brewed that recipe with MO I'd be getting an OG of 1.055 at the least. More like an 80/- here, or else go with a lesser amount of grain, kept in percentage relationship of course.

Prost!

I was supposed to brew today. My starter is ready and has been going since mid week. I got sidetracked with work and a superbowl party at a friends house. Would have preferred to stay home and brew but is an old friend that I have mostly lost touch with and I could not turn down the invite. Can't let old friends that you miss slip away like that.

I will probably just get up early and brew it Monday morning since I do not have to go to work until 4pm.

I reformulated for partial mash and I am approaching the beginning of the boil as I type.

Yeah, I cut it down to 6 lbs of MO and still hit 1.047.

Remember to adjust for efficiency! The recipe I sent out was the one I use for my system...

Glad I'm not the only one that isn't going to brew until next week. Threw my back out helping my parents and had to watch the game all hopped up on vicodin. Wait... I was making that sound like a bad thing. Well, the pain is bad, but I got to have some Bear Republic that my Sister brought me from California to wash everything down with.

But... I'm a trooper. I'll be brewing next weekend or at least coaching my wife through it.

All right! Booze and vicodin... Ozzy has nothing on you, now. Oh, yeah, except for his pile of cash.
