Instead of using a dry airlock why not breathable bung. Wine makers use them. http://morewinemaking.com/product.html?product_id=16646

Nice find. This would be good for my wine carboys. I bought two of those PET plastic carboys last year. Really didn't like them because when you lift them up the plastic bottom expands out and it sucks the fluid in the airlock into the carboy. These look like a better way to do the wine.

However I agree with yeast_slurry_speech. I also use the large blow off tubing into the plastic milk jug half filled with iodine solution. Never know when you will get a vigorous fermentation start up with these high gravity worts. Saves you one heck of a terrible mess. They are very stable also.
