+2 - Me as well. Running Herms due to some scorched batches.

I use a 15 Gallon Stout tank for the HLT. Heat up the mash water, dough in, then pump into the HERMS coil to control mash temps. The HLT has the HERMS coil in it. for $849 you are looking at possibly being able to purchasing both a BK and HLT or Mash Tun and HLT for that price from Stout.

I've acctually had really good luck with my rims. It really helps speed up my brew day compared to my HERMS.
