Skol from Northern Minnesota

Sat Feb 21, 2015 12:20 pm

I was introduced to the BN from some people from work about a year ago. Great information and humor. I stated on the very first episode and am working through the 2008 archives. I have been an extract brewer for 3 years looking at doing all grain soon. Oddly enough went to a 3 tap 15 gallon keg systen early on, because it's way easier than bottling. Found my first live show oddly enough not on Sundays, but. On the new night of Monday! If I'm not brewing I'm watching Minnesota sports and HEAVILY into flying airplanes and aviation. Near my home town there are nearly 10 micro breweries, brew pubs and brew houses.
Brew well and I look forward to learning and helping others brew more better beer!

Cool! Welcome to the forum. A 15 gallon keg system sounds pretty crazy. What batch sizes do you brew?

I have been doing 5 gallon extracts, partial mash, meads and ciders. Currently between a roommate and I we have 30 gallons in ferment, and one empty that will be a Surly clone partial mash.
