Propane to Natural Gas Conversion: Best Investment I’ve Made

Mon May 12, 2014 7:36 pm

Here's a write-up of my conversion from propane to natural gas, the best decision I've made since I started brewing over 10 years ago. If this is something you're considering, feel free to ask any questions!

Cheers!

Nice work. What did you do to insulate the wall behind it? Just sheet galvanized stock? What did you do about venting all of the steam?

Nice work.

I'm in the process of doing mine. I ran the gas line before I put in the subfloor. I just need to get the conversion kit & a short line (a couple feet) to run from where it pokes out of the floor to the burner. I still need to finish the floor though - it's just plywood at the moment.

It would've been an even better investment if you tied in on the other side of the meter.
