I know I havent posted much here. Well, ok 1 other time. I got one of these awhile ago and was actually quite impressed with them. I now have 5 of them so what does that say, other than I spent money on them. I am not associated with them so we can nip that notion right now

If you ever need someone to drink beer with, I´ll drink beer with you. If you ever need a shoulder to cry on, I´ll drink beer with you. I guess what I´m trying to say is: I love to drink beer!

I think I'll give a couple these a shot, if they still do free shipping when they are back in stock. I've been watching for used conical for awhile with no luck, and these look like they would take less space up.

I'll be picking up a couple this week. After playing with them in person I was sold. I'll be replacing my glass carboys with these. No more fear of busting carboys.

I agree. I liked my first bucket so much I got a second one, then when the wife said "Why don't you just buy one of those conicals and be done with it....", I had to jump on that before she changed her mind. So I replaced my 3 better bottles with 2 of those stainless buckets and 1 7 gallon conical. So I'm pretty much set. I don't usually have more than 2 or 3 beers going at once. I switched to better bottles because of the glass issue, but just like a carboy they are not the easiest thing to clean. I do like those widemouth class carboys at NB though I no longer have a need for them.

Every time I hear or read a discussion about glass carboys the scar on my leg from a carboy that exploded stings.

Glass is cheap and great for fermenting but if you can afford SS the safety factor makes the price more than worth it.
