happy holidays everyone! Please invoke whatever mojo brings you luck towards my Steelers this weekend. Living in Baltimore is bad enough but losing to them twice in a year will kill me.
I'm enjoying my 6-pack....my 6-pack of Superbowl trophies!

I wonder what those bracing rods that go right through the beer space are made from. They look like regular steel, but it seems like that would taint the beer.

Hardy, har, I said "taint!"

Maybe they are covered in brewers pitch. Did they even have stainless steel 100+ years ago?

Looks like the barrel is covered in Brewers Pitch. Unfortunate, I could see Vinnie making some bad ass sour beers in that if it were not.

I saw those tanks being used for resturaunt tables in a beer house in Germany. It was on the TLC Modern Marvels show about brewing. That would be a cool idea for a brew house for a home brewer with Doc's budget though too.

"Budget" is defined as an upper limit.

Also the concept of "under budget" doesn't exist in home brewing. :D
