Northern CA Brewery wedding suggestions

Wed Feb 13, 2013 3:12 am

My Fiance and I are in the beginning stages of planning our wedding and we both want to have it at a brewery, in Northern California, where we are moving. We live in Ireland now and we are waiting for my fiance's visa to come through before we can move back to CA where I'm from. So for the next 6 months or so, we won't be able to check places out so I'm looking for suggestions here.

We'd like to have the ceremony and reception at the same place, and would like the ceremony outdoors, and the reception outdoors if possible. Anyone have any suggestions for breweries with nice grounds surrounding that might be good for a wedding?

I know there's Karl Strauss and Stone down in SD that I've seen other people have weddings at, but we'd prefer to stay in Northern California if there's a place.

Thanks in advance!

For breweries with some space around them Anderson Valley (though is might be a bit of a trek to get to) comes to mind. I haven't been to Moonlight Brewing Co but I think they have a lot of space (no tasting room so maybe they're not so keen to host events though). I don't know how available any of these places are for events. The area around North Coast is pretty nice but I'm not sure what they've got for space near the brewery. Are you looking for something more rural or in a city?

Anyone can be with 2 minutes of spare time :D

IIRC, all it takes is typing in your name & clicking a box that says yes. They just want to sell you the wall certificate anyways.

More like chatting her up at the bar & wondering why there's no Janet's Brown being poured.

Edit:

Silly me, he brought a keg of his own.
