That is my main motivation too. I am just making my program run a quick little rsync job to a web page for later on-line reference. Also, I think beersmith is available for mac now, I am just currently too cheap to make the switch, which means even a $50 XP machine too spendy. Although my wife has an old laptop I was going to convert to a netflix to tv box, maybe it will become dual purpose.

I will look for the spec sheets, that will be very helpful and necessary.

That definitely works. $50 was just a number to throw out there... I'm sure if I put a little effort into it, I could probably piece together something for free. I haven't followed BeerSmith's releases, but I figured a Mac version was in the works. I always found it odd that there was no cross platform software out there.
