Hello from Wenatchee Washington

Fri Jul 27, 2012 11:03 am

I am a new member and got into brewing through my son. I am retired and he works on a oil exploration boat so I get to drink a lot of his beer while he is gone (6weeks on and 6 off). I am learning slowly and enjoy all of it. I am smack in the middle of brewing a chocolate coffee stout trying to copy my favorite commercial beer, Ironhorse Breweries Mocha Death.

Welcome! Are you going to be brewing on his system while he's away, or using/getting your own?

It is an "our" system. He bought a starter kit and I added a bunch of stuff.

Cool! Sounds like you are getting the best of both worlds!
