so the last few years have flown by working for Shorts Brewing. A lot of fun, cant really complain too much

We have it sety up now where everyone is pretty much at 40 hrs a week, rather than the 70-80 i used to work. Which is great since i didnt used to get OT, so now same pay less work, on to the good stuff. Now that i have more time on my hand, other than family stuff and hunting season is done, ive gotten the itch again to homebrew. Ive done a couple batches in the last year at home that turned out great, still got it. Now i really want to get back into it. Dont get me wrong, i love my job, but theres just something about making 5 or 10 gallons at home that still makes me smile like a short bus window licker! Recently my boss gave me the old fabbed pizza oven stand we had at work, and that got the ball rolling. The heavy slotted angle later and bam. Brew stand. Not just brewstand, double kettle brewstand! (had the extra kegs around)
I have the HLT plumbed with a gas burner AND 1650W heating element. Water plumbed via hooking up hose to house water and can fill the HLT or have a spiggot at the other end of that stand for chill water and general water needs.
Just got 300# of barley from work, employee discount

, plan to do some serious brewing in my "off season".
Enjoy boys and girls

and the little keg washer since our work keg washer cant do cornies or carboys

Im planning on banging out the maiden voyage on it tomorrow after work, then all day friday. I know weird, go to work and brew, come home and brew. Rough life
