Some reasons to quit that affect the bottom line...

Cigarettes at the shop I work at are $5.99 a pack. With tax that's $6.39 per pack.

At a pack a day, that's $6.39*365 = $2,332.35

$2332.35 can get you

- 60.74 CASES of craft beer (1,457.76 12oz bottles) at $8.99 a six pack ($9.60 with tax)
- 46.66 fifty pound sacks of 2-row (over 1 ton of grain!)
- 936.69 ounces of hops (58.54 lbs)
- You'd only be another $117.60 away from one of these http://morebeer.com/view_product/10778//The_Ultimate_Conical_-_14gallon
- 15,549 packets of Ramen noodles (which if you are eating 5/day would last 3,109.8 days, or 8.52 years... but that'd probably kill you anyway).

Holy crap spider! I was cool with perhaps living a few minutes longer and not cleaning up the butts from our yard/driveway/can/ashtray......

Way to go Jakeandbake!!!!!!!!
I am 32 days smoke free, but who's counting?
Feels good. Been fighting a cold, though.
It seems like everytime I have ever quit, I get sick. I'm thinking that as the tar and shit leave my lungs, it is exposing healthy tissue to things that it isnt used to.
Coughing up some VERY intersting lougies, that's for damn sure.
The only time I really crave one, is when the wife gets on a rant.

:jnj Just hit my 11 month anniversary today of quitting chewing tobacco. Still get a little craving from time to time. Keep up the good work guys. I have used quitting as an excuse to buy tons of extra ingredients too, the wife generally won't even complain.
