Cheers to all!

I am a new member, having just stumbled on this link while trying to find out if Glosan was suitable for cleaning aluminum cooking pots.

I'm a long time homebrewer, non-BJCP beer judge and multiple award winner from may local and national beer competitions.

Looking forward to tossing back a few with you guys and trading a few tips and recipes.

Remember, only "C" hops... and lots of them!

OK, so there are a few more...

I am a huge fan of Amarillo, Target, Santiam, Pride of Ringwood, Northdown and surely many others.

But my favorite house ales always seem to have some kind of combination involving Centennial, Columbus, Cascade, Chinook, etc.

I grow my own cascades and the beer brewed with them is nearly impossible to duplicate with any other hop. I get slightly less alpha acid with the homegrowns (probably a product of growing them here in Western Washington where the season is shorter then over East of the mountains) which means they are wonderful for finishing; providing plenty of flavor and aroma, but I usually use a commercial pellet to bitter the brew.
