KNOCK IT OFF!

I just went through six pages of this crap, and the only thing I saw was EVERYONE breaking the code.

Yes, Alanzo has gone over the line the last few weeks, but we don't need to jump on him and tell him he doesn't belong in OUR army. How about we help a brotha out? Instead of crapping all over him, try asking nicely and teaching proper etiquette. You wouldn't tell a new brewer how shitty his beer is and tell him to stop trying.

Alanzo,

Please take a couple of weeks off from calling. The multiple-calls-in-one-show routine only works once. Now that you have that established, it will be funnier if you call only occasionally. You'll still get the groans from JP (part of the joke), but you won't turn off other listeners.

Thank you all for letting me rant. You may now continue sucking it.

Ok, Todd. Will do. Thank you for being polite, honest, and wording yourself intelligently.

A note to some others: Wouldn't this have been a much better way to start the thread instead of calling me a dick? And then later calling me a douche? And then insulting me as an individual by calling my personality a joke? Of course I trolled this thread, wouldn't you if there was a similar one directed your way? I didn't do anything on purpose and got all the right signals from everyone during the shows. I'll give the calling a rest for a few weeks but you're making "The Army" look like stuck-up assholes by berating me after I've been around only a few months. As if you're too good for me. It's just beer. Chill out.

I only listened to the Abita show, but it didn't really sound like Alonzo did anything out of line. It was kind of funny, although I'm sure if you heard it for 3 shows in a row you might have another opinion. Whatever. It's Justin & crew that are taking the calls and deciding what the show sounds like.

If you want to go back and see what a real, actual troll is, you only have to go back as far as Bleachcola. Alzonzo, I am willing to give you and your retardedly longwinded stories a chance. Just keep it cool and no one will bite your head off. Right guys?

I cannot lie - every Alanzo call evokes an uncomfortable laughter in me. I suspect it is from a combination of pointless longwindedness of an attempted answer and the pointless longwindedness of the brewcasters hacking on him. Either way, I was going to start a thread suggesting Justin calls Alanzo once a show for his opinion on certain matters just to hear how long it takes to come to an answer.

Cracks me up, and obviously invokes conversation, which is good radio. Alanzo: call all you like man. Justin knows enough about broadcasting to make decisions on his show.

I thought Alanzo was spot on the money calling in when the tight jeans story was dragging on and on.

If only he followed his own advice sometimes.
