I saw him the night of the 6th at a club meeting and we discussed their plan for a defense. So I'm guessing the court date was pushed back. No other news yet.

In Bama myself, so I'm interested in what the latest news is with this guy.

I CAN add to the discussion about how most of the masses are ignorant on brewing vs. moonshining. My neighbor came over one day and I offered him a homebrew. Instantly, he gits all giddy and starts telling his "war stories" about the last time he drank moonshine.

I said, "No guy, I mean homemade beer. HOME... BREW."

News has been tough to come by, even locally. I have heard the guy is still free, and even has been looking into buying nano equipment to start a pro brewery here in Alabama. I can only assume that he no longer has a pending felony trial if he is doing that, but without first-hand information, I can't say for sure what happened. Maybe someone else will see this and give a better update.
