Thirsty, while I have never seen the prime minister of Australia, I will now know how to identify him

My two cents on this subject are similar to that which most of the others have noted. I believe when you have a sculpture you can become more familiar with the different things that go on during your brew session. It trims down the variables so that you can get it right each time, repeatability. Instead of trying to fine tune this part or that, you know where it is, you clean it up, you quickly learn the do's and don'ts, you brew, you move on. I'm one for keepin it simple. Hey, it works for me!

For me, the best part about my sculpture is that is is permanently hardlined into Natural Gas. I do not have to set up or tear down every time I brew. It is in my basement, ready to go. When I had to put it together and take it apart every time, my brew day was 6-8 hours. Now it is around 5 hours. Also, Since I don't have to schlep water outside, I have more energy left at the end of the brew day. I built my sculpture with angle iron from Menards, I have a pump, and a water filter attached.
I brew, therefore I am.

Ditto to that Mr Big! I failed to mention those advantages yet as a sculpture owner myself one tends to forget the obvious.
