Closed transfer hardware

I'm trying to attach a racking cane to a ball lock disconnect for my corny, but the 5/16" hose for the racking cane is too large for a 1/4" or 3/16" barbed swivel and the 1/4" is too small to fit on a racking cane.

Am I missing something obvious?

I just clamped down that shit tighter than a 13 year old tranny boy's ass from SE Asia. Of course, I had to ask Bleachcola how tight that was, first.

I just ordered parts to do the same thing. I went with a liquid disconnect with a 1/4" MFL connector instead of barbed and will attach that to a 5/16" hose barb with 1/4" swivel nut (FFL) on the end.

Two outstanding choices....that's a level of tourque I'm not comfortable with.....so going with option 2.

I use silicon tubing for low-pressure transfer. I get this stuff from work:
Tygon
It's thick and very flexible and will fit over variable OD sizes. I don't need clamps most of the time. Plus you can boil the shit out of it. It's expensive, but lasts a long time.

I've been using a picnic tap, it slips right over the racking cane
