I did some extract brewing a few years ago and really enjoyed it, and I am ready to re-enter this hobby with gusto. I am interested in meeting like-minded folks and having insightful discussions about how to make better beer. My family is very down-to-earth and we're not interested in pretense or showing off. Send me a message -- especially if you live close to us! We enjoy meeting new people.

My family consists of a male-male couple that has been togehter for 9 years and our son who was adopted by the both of us. We have no interest in "gay culture" and live what some would consider a conservative, suburban lifestyle.

Hey Loundry, welcome to the forum. I recently had an opportunity to try some of the Sweetwater beers out of Atlanta. By far, my favorite was the Exodus Porter. Man, that's a good beer.

Hi Rich! Sweetwater 420 is the commercial beer that I usually drink. I like Terrapin's Rye Pale Ale better, though. I like to patronize local (read: Georgia) companies.

Don't get the cart before the horse! I have yet to re-build my brewery! I'm still in the planning stages right now, though I have chosen and ordered 4 better bottle carboys (and accessories) for use as fermentors. I'm in the process of planning / assembling the kegging equipment. My method is slow, deliberate, and will full understanding of all the options. For the sake of beer.

Excellent! That's my philosophy as well, brew your own beer, compile your own kernel. It's all about tweaking it just the way you want it. That's an impressive /. UID. Mine's 123067. However, I did start running my first Linux based Internet server in 1994, so I gotcha by a few years there (lol)
