Looking for a Czech Pils Recipe

Does anyone have a good Czech Pils Recipe?

I'm looking for something along the lines of the Lagunitas' Czech Pils.

This will get used for my first lager, so any other hints on lagers would be great too. Thanks.

pils is easy

100% lager/pils malt

35 IBU of saaz

and a good clean lager yeast


Ferment it slowly with a big pitch of yeast then lager for 4-12 weeks

No specialty grains? No particular type of pils malt?

I think OZ may be tring to trick me into making some Fosters for him.

what do you mean there is no malt is Fosters

no you realy dont need any specialty grain, Pilsner is a vry hard beer to brew as you cannot hide anything,

oz,

If pilsner, and light coloured lagers in general I suppose, are hard to brew because they show up faults.... Do you think that they might be a good beer to brew ao that you can find out where the faults in your brewing process are? To highlight hte areas where you need to improve.

Are there ale styles that mgiht achieve the equivalent? (not set-up for lagering at the moment)
