Pliny the Elder Recipe Here?

Tue Apr 25, 2006 3:52 am

I heard on one of Vinnie's shows in the archives that the Pliny the Elder recipe was here somewhere, but a search in the forums and on the main BN site turned up nothing. Can someone point me in the right direction? Or at least tell me to get stuffed?

There isnt a Pliny the Elder recipe on the site from what I have seen. I posted a BSOP (Bastard Son of Pliny) in the recipe forum. I do have the Pliny recipe from the B3 recipe. I will post it tonight when I get home.

Okay, thanks. I swear that I heard Vinnie or Justin say that Vinnie gave out the exact recipe in one of his shows, but I've listened to all of them (that I could find) and I didn't hear the actual recipe, just hints about what ingredients. I have one from another forum, but I'm trying to get it straight from the horse's mouth. I suppose I could email Vinnie directly, but that just seems too easy or something.

CJ, the version I have is slightly different. This recipe was converted from the B3 extract recipe (I think) that I got from the kind fellow brewer gfoster.

Its in a file that can be opened with promash.

here it is >>>>>>>>Vinnies Pliny the Elder

Wow! that is one of the recipes that I wanted to find. Up to this point I've been too lazy to really chase it down. Thanks guys for all of your hard work and time. I'll try to post a good one as soon as I try it for myself.
