I used this stuff again yesterday on a batch of a Blind Pig clone pitched onto a big pitch of Pacman slurry. Today it is chugging away like mad, but only about an inch and a half of foam. Without the stuff, that krausen would be filling my blow off catch can right now. I'm hooked on the stuff now.

This stuff is awesome! I fermented an amber and it was about to blow off and I realized I didn't need to attach a blow off tube, just a couple of drops in the fermenter and the problem was no more!

Update - WOW. 1.5 L in 2 L flask (that barely fits 2L) starter. Hit a rolling boil and no bubbles riding up the flask, and boiling over. LOVE IT :drink My wife failed to celebrate as much as I, but I end up cleaning so I understand why.

As for how it looks, not sure I want to know what it is, but not sure I care.

ALMOST saw some action when my wort foamed up with fist 2 oz hop addition, but it settled fast. Added a squeeze into my primary and looking at about 1" of krausen on my RIS.

I was a little worried last night. Before I went to bed, I checked the fermentor, and had about 2 1/2 inches of krausen. This morning, though, it had already started to drop back down.

If you don't use this... buy some!

Same here. Topped out at about 3" of krausen on mine. Pitched a 1.5L starter with 3 vial of WLP001 that was close to peak activity on the stirplate. I usually need a blow-off hose not this time.
