Hope the BN has a good showing again in Philly.

Well if the BN doesn't win COTY, they will most likely be the loudest people cheering, showing all those lame people last year how to cheer for the accomplishments achieved. Or it could be that the BN people will be the most drunk...either way it's a win!

I didn't hear boos last year. Maybe because I was cheering, but still. I spoke with a couple of others who didn't hear boos.

So this was my first comp.

Any ideas what typical scores medal?

My scores:
Dry Stout 36.5
Mild 28
Belgian Specialty 33

I'm guessing 40 would be a medal score? Think I'm happy with the two 30s. Not sure about the 28. I really liked that beer. It will be interesting to read the score sheet. It was a pale mild with just crystal though. I'm not sure there was a category for it.

Put 3 through in NYC - fruit beer, mead and raz cider. 2 of these placed last year too. Still dont have my scoresheets...go BN! I won't be in Philly. Have one for me...

3 of my 6 went to a mini BOS in NY, with just my Pumpkin making it through. Took first with a 40! Good luck in Philly everyone! Well, everyone who isn't in 21A anyway! Lol!

So psyched to just make it through and have a chance at getting a medal!
