GABF or BUST

I will be at the Thursday night session. I will be ordering my tickets this week. I also plan to make it to the Falling Rock one night and up to Fort Collins for some New Belguim and the whole "Granola Lifestyle" as my friend from Nebraska who lives in Denver calls it. I will be wearing my TBN shirt at the Thursday session. I may garnish it with some Nebraska stuff. But, I would really be into getting together with fellow TBN listeners and broadcasters if there is a general thought that a TBN meet up is a good idea. GABF is the closest I will probably be to Cali in a very long time, so it is a good chance for me to meet all the Brewcasters and some of you guys who I chat with on Sunday nights.

I'm going to be doing a road trip around the GABF. I think Justin and Daniela are going to join me.

It would be great to meet up with folks along the route. I know we'll be stopping at a number of beer related spots along the way.

Just got my tickets for Thursday and Friday yesterday. Henning and I will be driving out there on Wednesday. Will try to hit Ole's Big Game Bar in Paxton for lunch on the way. Falling Rock and New Belgium are on our list. May try to hit Boulder Brewing Company for lunch on the way to Ft. Collins. We will have to hook up Thursday afternoon before we invade the session!

Jamil-If you guys are going to the Thursday session then maybe Bugeater, Henning, myself and a friend of mine that is a non homebrewer could all meet up somewhere.

I don't have a cell phone. I know, I know, I am living in the stone ages with no cell phone. But if we ever have a beer together I will tell you why I don't have one right now, and when my wife and I plan to get a cell. OTOH, my friend in Denver has a cell phone, so if you email me your cell number I will keep it around and then call you in Denver.

Friday night is no good for me as my wife and my friend's wife are going out on the town and I must stay home and watch my son. I will be out at the Thursday session, probably in Fort Collins Friday or Saturday Day, and then out for dinner in downtown Denver on Saturday evening.

I hope we can link up. If not, we will just have to work out another time.

Bug,

If you're going to be in Boulder you may as well stop by Avery, they make all kinds of crazy Belgins (I think it will be on your way back to Denver). Also don't know what you think of mead, but Redstone Meadery is about a block from Boulder Beer (The Mojo is pretty dang good).

P.S. About a week ago Avery came out with their seasonal: The Kaiser. It's an Imperial Oktoberfest.
