They did leave two of the bottles. I'm not sure how many we have to send out in the first round. If it's more than two than someone would be getting some micros.

The first Saison I entered in a comp scored a 20 and all the judges really had to say about it was that it was to phenolic. I was hoping this batch would get a better score, I know it couldn't get worse

Any ideas what's going on here? I'm actually pretty happy with this beer and want to do something with it before I drink it all.

Ok, here's the deal. I have been dragging my feet over here a little bit - for two reasons 1) because I wanted to get the new software written to the point that we can use it for the remainder of this comp, and 2) because my 565 pooped out, and I now need to do something drastic, like pitch some 001 or something.

If you guys give me another week, I should have an Alpha version ready with limited functionality - but most importantly will allow all the tasting group assignments to be made, and all the paperwork tracked in the database vs. through email attachments. This will improve my quality of life very much, as the most time consuming thing is to send out the emails and track the scoresheets. This will also give the entries some anonymity (ie. and entry number).

I understand that many of you want to get on with this... so if the general consensus is to press on without the website, then so be it. I just figured that this is one style that can benefit from a little age.... as long as your friends don't drink your entries.

In any case, you beer should be done and packaged as soon as possible, if its not already. I think a two week delivery deadline is more than appropriate - so once I have the tasting groups figured out, we should be able to move through the comp relatively quickly.

Thoughts? F-ing feelings?

Sounds good Mylo, I think since you're the asshat doing all the grunt work we should let you get your shit together, especially if it's gonna reduce the workload.
My beer is ready to go and it's only gonna get better with age.

That's my $.02, suck it Mylo
