Jamil's Premium recipe

Tue Mar 25, 2008 7:15 am

so this past weekend, before the episode aired, I did jamils premium bitter recipe. Right now its bubbling away. My question is whether it would be appropriate/overkill if I dry hopped it to get more flavor/aroma in it. I have challenger, fuggles, and ek goldings to choose from. Thanks all for the input.

Just depends on what you want. If you're looking to brew to style, English Bitters should not have a big late hop character. I would bet that very few if any English brewers dry hop their beers.

But on the other hand, if you're not going for a particular style, dry hop away!
