Gonzo Imperial Porter (duplicate from Brewing Ingredients)

(Also posted in Brewing Ingredients...should have put here...)

Flying Dog makes an Imperial Porter and I swear I taste cirtrusy hops it it. This leads me to considering the fact that I have Cascades and want to brew a Robust Porter.

Thoughts on hops in Porter? How would it surivive some West Coast hop varieties ya think?

Here is the breakdown from the flying dog website:

ABV: 7.8%
Plato: 22
IBU's: 80
Specialty Malts: 120L Crystal, Chocolate Malt, Black Malt
Hops: Warrior, Northern Brewer, Cascade

Process: Double Porter recipe, dry hopped with a shit load of Cascade hops.
I think I've had about enough beer tonight...Now I need some Whiskey to sober up

Thanks....good to see the hop bill. I missed it on the site, but e-mailed the Brewer...also good to see I DO taste Cascade. I think I have it covered with a sub of Magnum for Warrior and push JZ's Robust Porter up in percentage to target the OG.
