You didn't waste my time, my expectations were just too high. I've already started working the recipe up in Beersmith :-)

Loaded this up in Beersmith and have it close after some conversions. Any idea on when to add the aroma hops? 10 min or 5min? What yeast? Ferment at 67ish degrees?

I have it at
1.058 OG
1.015 FG
32.8 IBUs
17 SRM
5.6% ABV

8lbs Pale
4.8oz Chocolate
3.4oz Caramel 40
.6oz Smoked
1.5oz Challenger
.5oz Goldings

Thanks guys.

Looks like Mrs. Dresler is coming into the restaurant for dinner, tonight.
My boss told me to bring in some beers for her to try. Should be fun!

It was pretty cool.
On Wednesdays, I do a pasta bar at work. Im set up in the dining room and I cook them up right in front of the customer. Their crew was seated right by me and we were dead that night, so I got to shoot the shit with her and her crew.
I had a barley wine and a vanilla porter that she tried. She even had 2 of the porters.Nice!
Super nice lady, even though she is a Green Bay fan. Oh, well, nobody's perfect, right?
