How about this format

Malt by percentages
Type of hop, schedule and expected IBU contribution for each addition
Mash temp and schedule
OG, expected FG
Expected totol IBU's
Type of yeast

Is this an OK format for everyone. Just one question to Sean --that with a CAPITAL "O", would the recipe change when scaled down to HB batch sizes?

Thanks

I have a humble 5 gal system, but Promash is our friend so as much of breyton's suggested format you can provide should be fine.
Thanks!

I too have a humble 5 gallon setup... and I am pretty dumb when it comes to conversions. Any chance of posting both the 5 and the 10?

I'd imagine if someone is brewing more than that, they are pretty proficient with conversions...

From whatever Shaun provides, I'm sure one of us wil be able to post suitable conversions for sanity check.

Breyton's format sounds perfect to me. Go for it!

Exactly what I was about to ask! :)

OK OK, I am back at the 21A. How do you want the 21A recipe....5 gallons, 50 gallons, 12 barrel batch? I can give percentages or do you want to have actual amounts?

ShaunO

For Fuck Sake Shaun, can you get the freaking recipe out here all ready?

I have never had 21A IPA, been listening to people rave about it, I'm drooling just thinking about it. I'm sitting here on the East Coast and because your distribution area is like what, 20 yards, I have to make my own.

Warmest Regards,

Rob :P

So... Using open ended questions about "format" as a diversionary stall tactic...

Well played Mr. O'Sullivan... well played... but we are on to you... you aren't as coy as you seem to believe you are...

Individually we may be weak, but together we are a force to be reckoned with. Screw WMD's, we will bring out our BUB on yo' ass!

No worries, percentages work for me too by the way.

Whenever you can though O'Sullivan, don't listen to the other asshats that keep whining and bitching :P (Just send it to me privately ;) )

Cheers,
