My plan to brew Jamil's Evil Twin has been put off due to late delivery of equipment and ingredients, so I'm going to do a Sierra Pale Ale clone I have on the back burner.
I have two recipes: One is in Papazian's "Microbrewed Adventures" and the other was published in BYO's "Hop Lover's Guide". I don't have the hops or Munich Malt for Papazian's clone, so it's the BYO clone or nothing. Here it is...

Sierra Nevada Pale Ale Clone
OG 1.052
FG 1.011
IBU 37
SRM 10
ABV 5.3%
10.25 lbs 2-row pale malt
10 oz Crystal 60
2.5 AAU Magnum 60 min
4.8 AAU Perle 60 min
5 AAU Cascade 15 min
.75 oz Cascade 0 min
.75 oz Cascade (dry)
1 tsp Irish Moss
WLP-001
Single step mash 60 min at 154 F.
Collect 6.5 gal
Boil 90 min

I have no clue why they boil 90 but toss the magnum and perle at 60. If I do this clone I'll pitch the boil hops at 90.
Any thoughts?
Anybody got a better (or even different) Sierra Pale clone?
Charlie
