That time of year for Pumpkin Ale

I would like to brew some pumpkin ale lickey split. I know I'm probably pushing it time wise for Halloween, but it would still be nice. I've done tons of searching and found a variety of recipes.

I'm looking for extract or partial mash recipe. The recipe could use or not use actual pumpkin, but if it does I would like canned(no spices or preservatives)

Any thoughts?

Last time I asked for a recipe on this forum I brewed a great beer.

Not to hijack the thread here but I'd really appreciate an ecxcellent pumkin ale all grain recipe...I'm sick of brewing mediocre ones. I like Buffalo Bills never tried Shipyards.

Dude !!! a Belgian pumpkin Saison... I'm brewing that.

Never seen canned pumpkin here in Australia, but Ill just use the fresh stuff and roast it instead.
