Water report

Is this a "detailed" water report or am I missing something? :shock:

No. The only really useful info (for brewing) is that they add chloramine to your water.

Fermenting: Cider, Azacca Oat Pils, Egregious-ish, Lambic, Carrot Blossom Cedar Mead, Brett Helles
Drinking: RIS, Doppelbock, Sauerkraut Gose, Lambic, Brett Blonde, Kriek, Saison, Rye Berliner
Barrel aged: RIS, Rye Barleywine, Tripel

I use Potassium Metabisulfite powder. I usually collect all my brewing liquor and let it sit overnight so that it is ready first thing and to give the chlorine (max 2.5 ppm) a chance to off gas. Then I treat for whatever chloramine may be in there (max 1.4 ppm).
Next:

a Campden tablet is made with either potassium metabisulfate or sodium metabisulfate. Both work great.

Campden tablet is what I use. Doesn't take much. One tablet will easily treat 10 gallons of water. Be sure to crush it good or it won't dissolve.

I use the powdered version of potassium metabisulphite at just shy of 1/16 tsp for 10 gallons. It works like a charm and 1 bottle has lasted me for years.
