Have you ever dry hopped an AIPA with Chinook as the lone hop, or perhaps blended with another hop?

I did an all Chinook IPA about 4 years ago that was awesome. Go for it!

I've done it as a dry hop, and it's surprisingly earthy in a nice way, and not citrusy or piney like in the kettle.

Do it, you can't go wrong. Tastes great. Besides, I think Chinook is my favorite hop. So I'm prolly a little biased.

Chinook is a GREAT aroma hop, either dry or late.

I like a small portion in the bittering to give the bitterness a little edge, but not too much or it gets rough. I"m talking a 1/4 oz or so Max here, paired with something else that's a bit cleaner bittering (5 gal batch).
