how much yeast to add for bottling

Fri Feb 14, 2014 6:54 pm

I have a 8.5% beer that I cold crashed. I usually keg. I want to bottle this batch. I am thinking I will add priming sugar and yeast then bottle. I am wounding... If I add yeast it will be to a harsh environment, anything to do about that?
Then how much yeast do I add?

A teaspoon from a dry yeast packet is plenty (rehydrated) for a 5 gallon batch.
