Close to Kegging

I've got my keg, the hoses, lots of little trinkets. SWMBO is out rounding up a 5lb cannister of CO2. Tonight my patient 5 gal batch of American Amber Ale will become the first kegged batch of beer I've made.

I'll be sneering at the mountainous pile of empty glass bottles clogging up my garage.

FREEDOM!

Pouring a homebrew draft beer is so cool, and so much easier than the PITA bottles.
ENJOY YER BEER and let them that don't want none have memories of not havin' any!

Congrats on getting into kegging. You won't regret it......at least not after you finally figure out how to get the system balanced. Also don't dump all the bottles. After you blow a car payment or two on more kegs, you will then move on to a beer gun and will need the bottles again. Just part of this affliction....the need for more toys. Enjoy the keg! :jnj

Without question, the greatest invention in the history of mankind is beer. Oh, I grant you that the wheel was also a fine invention, but the wheel does not go nearly as well with pizza.
