Hey Brian, welcome to HELL!! Just kidding. Hazleton is a bit of a haul from here (about 2hrs) so I don't know too many up that way. There is a good one in Bethlehem, which is a little over an hour from Hazleton as the Google Map flies. It's the one I use, but they have a second store closer to me.

They are REALLY helpful, so if you e-mail them I am sure they will let you know of clubs and shops in and around hazleton.

Good luck with the move!

Thanks for the tip. Bethlehem looks like it'll be a bit far away, but that's better than no homebrewing!

Re: Kegerator and Multiple CO2 regulators

Brian1011 wrote:I'm taking the leap and I'm going to build a kegerator after 8 years of bottling. I'm in the design phase, and I plan on having at least 3 regulators to be able to dispense at different pressures.

Ideally, I'd like the 3 regulators mounted onto the side of my fridge, high enough to keep the kids hands off of it. Normally, the CO2 tank would just connect directly to the 1st regulator, but I don't think it would work to have the tank mounted up that high.

Here are my questions:

1. What is the maximum pressure in the CO2 tank?
2. Anybody know what the threads are (i.e. what fittings do I need) on the CO2 tank?
3. Is there a good high pressure hose that can be run from the CO2 tank on the floor (or hidden in a cabinet) up to the regulator mounted on the side of the fridge?

TIA

Yes these things DO exist because I also, like one of the other guys that responded to this post I have one as well. You may want to inquire at the place where you purchase the regulator about a lead hose, the high pressure hose that connects the tank to you multible regulators. Most regulators have a threaded high pressure port that pluged so the owner can gang several together in a group to form a manifold. Doing this allows you to have the same tank pressure coming in to each regulator yet you can set your desired pressure on each discharge line seperatly. Another good source of info is the folks at Rapids.com. Thats their biz, look em up they can fill in every answer you need!
