sterilize Nalgene bottles?

I just recieved 2 2liter Nalgene bottles and they won't fit in my pressure cooker/autoclave. Any ideas on sterilizing them? Maby in the oven? :?

Nah, not an Aussie thing. It's a culinary thing. It's just a fancy term for a type of double boiler. It's different from a standard double boiler because it's often used in an oven for cheese cakes and souflees. Chemist also use them for whatever chemist do.

As for the translation, Bain Marie means Maries Bath or Mary's Bath. It's named after Moses sister.

basically put a tray of water in the oven to create a shit load o stem

You need steam and 15 psi of pressure to make them sterile.

What kind of pressure cooker do you have? Sometimes if you lay the bottles on their side they'll fit in the cookers. They don't need to be standing up.
