Just wonder if anyone plans on purchasing one of them. They look sweet just a bit pricey.

Boy Howdy they are more than a bit pricey. But look on the bright side. If you bought a 20 gal. pot then you would also be given the right to but $385.00 of hops. :? (from Williams Brewing)

Holy smokes, those are the not-messing-around models! Thats beyond serious.

They're cool and all, but I'm wondering, if you used one as a boil kettle, with the perforated screen in place, would the bubbles from the boil be able to get thru it? Those look lke some tiny ass perforations. Would hate to have the boil bubbles collect and then all at once lift the false bottom and send boiling wort splashing all over my body.....

I saw these at NHC, pretty neat but way to expensive for my taste. I'll stick to my converted kegs.

The name of this kettle threw me for a loop at first. I went to Purdue University (Boilermakers). So when I saw the name I thought it was related. However, it does say they ship from Indiana (home of Purdue University). I wonder if one of the Blichmann owners/employees went there also.

I will say they have incorporated a lot of the deisgn features I would love to have in a brew kettle. I tried a similar dip tube setup in my 5 gallon kettle, and found it just got clogged way to easily. Maybe a false bottom would have helped. :?
