Has anyone seen or used the grain mill attachment for kitchenaid mixers? If so how well does it work?

Those things are made for grinding flour, not crushing grain. The problem is that they will completely pulverize the husks on your grains leading to stuck sparges and excessive tannin extraction. For less money you can buy a mill designed specifically for crushing grains for brewing.

Crankandstein mills must not be available in Denmark or he'd know a good mill when he saw one!

Oh yes, they are available. I know this because I have one and it’s great.
