Horizon Hops

Thu Nov 23, 2006 7:35 am

I have a Brown Ale Recipe that calls for Horizon hops as the bittering hops. I am looking for a good alternative since Horizon is a seasonal Hop. Does any one have any good Idea's?

I am trying to Brew Jamil’s Brown Ale Recipe.

Without question, the greatest invention in the history of mankind is beer. Oh, I grant you that the wheel was also a fine invention, but the wheel does not go nearly as well with pizza.

Isn't every hop seasonal? I thought they all got harvested once a year, in October, no matter what variety.
