UV-C Sterilizer

Has anyone played around with using UV-C light for sterilizing equipment rather than using things like an autoclave? I'm not sure if you could use it for starter wort without doing something bad to the wort, but surely you could use it on flasks, stoppers, etc. I'm sure you could use it for sterilizing water for using in rinsing yeast as well

Curious on people's thoughts.

To do water, you have to get one specifically designed for it. Most of them just do surfaces (think like a sheet of foil) and if there's ANY dirt, that section is not sanitized. They're not very practical for brewing purposes imo.
