Ya I just got the cereal killer as well and it's just fine. Apparently this new version has all the kinks worked out.

The Barley Crusher is great, its adjustable so you can dial in your roller gap to fit your particular false bottom / manifold and pretty affordable. I went with the small hopper instead of the large.
