Alright guys, I'm looking for the either the blichmann boilermaker and therminator instructions. Not for the actual instructions but more the break down of the mashing process. I have a friend applying to grad school and is going to do a speech about the brewing process and I thought that the manual had some great info in it that was well put and easy for a non-brewer to understand. So please if anyone has this info please post it or PM me.

Thanks in advance!!

If you're looking for a simple and straightforward approach to understanding the brewing process, check out How to Brew.

I have emailed john, no response yet I'm sure he's a busy guy.
I have how to brew but there is prob too much info for a non brewer in there and he's doing his presentation in a week.
If it comes down to it I can throw some stuff together from all the resources we have. But tryin to be lazy :)

both byo & the AHA (zymurgy) have beginner's guides you could look into. I've seen them both at homebrew shops, both I think are short & sweet.

I remembered to look over my instruction sheets that came with my blichmann gear, and I can say that there's very little info there about the actual process. So you're probably chasing a phantom.

Also, advice to your friend: as someone involved in higher education, I can say that it is probably a very bad idea to choose to speak about something you're not super-passionate and well-educated about. I'd pick something else entirely.
