I am building a new system and i am using the 20 gal blichmann engineering pots for my bk and mt. I already have the bk and i am about to buy the mt. I am going to buy the false bottom but i was thinking about the auto sparge as well. I was wondering if anyone has used this auto sparge and would like to know how it works. I am also wondering if i decide to make 10 gal batches in my 20 gal pot, is the auto sparge still going to work since the liquid level will be significantly lower. I know it is adjustable but how low in the pot will it go and still be effective.
these are just a few thoughts i was having about the auto sparge as i do plan on making both 10 and 15 gal batches. i would appreciate anyone who has experience with this equipments' input, as well as suggestions about other equipment i might be interested in. thanks for the help.
