Pumping chocolate :)

I'm brewing a Founder's Breakfast Stout clone, and will be adding in some nibs and baker's chocolate at the end of the boil. I use a Jamil-style whirlpool chiller -- will the residue from the melted chocolate harm the pump? I was planning to run boiling water through to clean it. :?:

I think it will be fine, March pumps are pretty resilient.

Yeah, but just to be sure, I'd run LOTS of hot water, then a PBW solution, then more hot water.
